Aquatic Effects Assessment

The goal of aquatic effects assessment is to determine the effect of the effluent on the health of aquatic biota. Aquatic effects monitoring programs focus on sampling fish tissue, fish population, and benthic invertebrate communities. We use guidance from Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC), our expertise in statistics and freshwater biology to determine the effects of the effluent on fish and fish habitat. We will work with you to ensure that our analyses meet all permitting requirements for your project.

  • Data types often used:
  • Water Quality Data (In-Situ and Lab)
  • Benthic Invertebrate Data
  • Fish Tissue Data
  • Fish Population Data
